i think because of a recent dream (like two nights ago maybe, or yesterday’s) that hannah montana’s dad was scolding hannah for fighting with michael jackson for clashing the release of albums on the same day and all along i thought it was the real thing so i thought the news that MJ died was a big fat joke.

but damnit, it wasn’t.

and, maybe because his music and music videos are what i lived by when i was a five year old and i learned the moonwalk and the falling thing and the gross crotch action from him, because i still listen to beat it when i play guitar heros maybe because he is whom i believe to be a true legend, i’m truly saddened.

Rest in peace, MJ. We will all miss you ):
